Overview: Madonna Mia is an Italian-inspired campus restaurant that I came up with that reflects the lively Florence streets. Named after my mom's favorite exclamation, "Madonna Mia," the idea of a vibrant spot is my ode to infusing the joy of Italian dining with the spirited essence of campus life. Picture it as a lively haven in the heart of our college grounds, where every meal becomes a celebration.
Design Concept: My vision for Madonna Mia is a burst of shapes, colors, and illustrations, all from my inspiration. Drawing from my travels, I've curated a color palette that echoes the warm Mediterranean vibes—terracotta, olive green, and lively reds, with a dash of modern blues and yellows to keep things fresh. The shapes are inspired by Italian architecture; I've thrown in arches and playful geometric patterns to create an environment that's visually engaging and uniquely immersive. My goal was to blend tradition with the exuberance of being young, creating a space that's not just a restaurant but an experience where Italy meets the energetic pulse of campus life.
